Is there a way to make a correct decision?
Let's say that there was such a thing as a decision machine. A decision machine is a instrument, person or combination of the two, that would make good decisions. A good decision is defined as a decision that would result in the greatest net short term and long term human happiness. Our system to elect officials to office could be defined as building a decision machine. If you had two decision machines, is there a way to determine which one worked better? Are there some methods to find answers to decisions that are better than other methods? Could you determine which decision machine was better if you knew how it worked?

I could take some time to think about it, and give you a truly brilliant answer, but instead I'll just say the first, most obvious thing that comes to mind.
Whatever machine ends up giving a closer answer to 42 who wins.

There was a movie about this. I can't recall the name. It is from the 50's or 60's I might of been called AL or Cliff--some one else of mature age could you help me with the name of the movie.
The computer made the correct decision with all things considered. At first it is great but then the humans realize that without human care and emotions, the correct answer isn't always the right answer. Being human we can take on a challenge and over come the odds and over come the circumstances. That is what sets us apart from computers and animals
