Socrates, plato, or aristotle?

who do you most associate with and why?

socrates.

Because I always am left with more questions than answers.

Aristotle.

Because I have learnt a lot about life in society on earth, and a lot about the Universe.

Reply:Well, Socrates and Plato are pretty much the same thing. Socrates never wrote anything himself, rather his student, Plato, wrote his teachings. So all the works of Plato are laced with his own views as well as the ideals of Socrates.

Personally i prefer Aristotle. He covers a wider range of topics and was himself influenced by Plato's writings. So i consider his works to be more evolved than Plato's.

Reply:My logical side must say Aristotle, even though he was a bit cold in the Nichomachean Ethics, he still has a lot of passion albeit seeming a bit misdirected at the minutiae from time to time. Plato, my heart tells me, is the one with whom I most accociate. He is passionate like Socrates and Aristotle, loves a well fought heated argument, is genuinely interested in getting to the heart of the matter and most interested in revealing and exposing any grey areas....

Reply:Socrates because he was the first and the teacher of teachers. Also the stories we have heard about his life only adds to the overall flavor of his teaching.
