the weirdest thing i've seen is the "matrix" where we live in a fake society controlled by robots
What is reality?
Reality is the state of things as they actually exist.
There are two types of reality:
Simulated reality
True Reality
An example of simulated reality would be the Matrix.

Oh and that Matrix thing? When you are shown that reality is a PROGRAM and the reality around the program is less complex and detailed than the program, wake up and realize you are in another program!

The universe is a large bunch of atoms and molecules and photons bumping into each other. Any meaning or attributes that sentient beings choose to ascribe to some subset of these molecules (eg. the sun > big&hot&yellow,a chair > used for sitting, a quark > 3 per proton)is purely subjective. The reality of the sitiuation is that photons bounce off an object, the information about the object is acquired and processed by the brain. The brain chooses a number of possible responces to the stimulus.
