Why are people ignorant now days?
Ok, I am going to lay it out as it is:
It is a curse to say the least on how pathedic we all are in our simple human lives. We are born, we eat, sleep, use the rest room(s), have sex, and it continues. But why is this so? Why is it so difficult for us all to fight and think on certain things the way we do?
Why? Why do you do it ? Why get up daily? Why keep living? Do you believe you're living for something ? For more than your survival, or wants? Can you tell me what it is ? Do you even know ? Is it freedom? Or truth? Faith? Perhaps peace ? Yes? No ? Could it be for love ? Illusions! Vagaries of perception. The temporary constrects of a feeble human intellect trying to deperately to justify an existence that is without meaning or purpose. And all of them as artificial A.I., although only a person could invent such insipid things. You must be able to see it. You must know it by now. You can't win... Why!? Why do you/we persist ?

Because I am alive, and aware of it, I live, continuously and with gratitude for the gift, the experience and the knowledge that I gain every moment of every day. I am no island, I live among other living beings on a living world. So long as we're here, we interact--I choose to try and make it a little better experience for myself and those I interact with. My contributions may be small, but I know they make a difference. The meaning is in the interaction, the understanding, the doing, the thinking and experiencing.
