Are studio photos with moire problems acceptable from a professional photographer for around $2000?
The Tux I was wearing was black, but in the photos taken, there were many stripes (I think it's called Moire patterns). The photographer claims everyone has this problem, and it cannot be fixed on the computer.

I've never had Moire problems with Portra Film.
Digital is for medical procedures and factories not weddings.

Anyone can set themselves up as a "Photographer" but only the good ones will know how to rectify such image problems. They use Photoshop.
My Fiance is a professional photographer and can edit out anything like this with ease.
Reply:Congratulations. You have obviously used someone who bought a DSLR and immediately thought that made them a professional photographer. Ask for your money back and then check for a real professional photographer in your local Yellow Pages.

If you paid that much to have your wedding photographed by someone who "claims" to be a photographer, and produces results and excuses like that, I'm afraid you've been taken. I don't know what kind of digital camera he was using, but I've never had that problem. And, even if I did, I could solve it in Adobe Photoshop, which would be the least I could do for the bride and groom.
