Can anyone help me find out more about a painter of large oils who signs the paintings SINCLAIRE ?
I have seen two examples. Both feature elaborate large gold gilt framing. One is a portrait of an Asian lady wearing a green Asain dress and holding an umbrella while sitting on a bench. There are Asian pagodas and lots of greenery in the background. The second example, also an oil, appears to be a painting of the inside of a palace. Its coloring is much broader.
