How to clean photos?
I have some old pictures that I am going through that were not protected or taken care of. I am scanning them to have them reprinted but some of them have stuff stuck to them where they've either stuck together or something has been spilled on them. Most of these are regular prints you get from Wal-mart but there are also some of the old Polaroid pics too. How can I clean them safely?

Photos can be cleaned when they are dirty, flood damaged, or molded, though it is best done by an expert, but if they are stuck together i think the damage is irreversible. Probably your best bet is to scan them and use a program like photoshop to repair them. I have done this with my old family photos and found that with practice, you can get pretty good at recreating what is damaged.
